Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking an Architecture New Grad to join our team.

You will assist in creating building designs and drawings with AutoCAD and Revit, under the guidance of senior designers, while contributing to multiple projects across our global client base.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong architectural design and graphic skills; portfolio of recent work.
• Ability to collaborate with team and communicate with all levels of management.
• Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, Photoshop.

Here’s what you’ll need

• In pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Ideally, you’ll also have:
  • 3.0 GPA
  • Strong architectural design and graphic skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within the team as well as independently
  • Knowledge of and/or proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper and Photoshop.
  • Experience with performance modeling software, such as Ladybug, Honeybee, Energy Plus and WUFI.
  • Experience with rendering software -e.g. V-Ray, Enscape, - and Bluebeam.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • A previous internship, or professional work experience related to your field of study
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
  • Self-driven time management and organizational skills
  • A portfolio of applicable recent design work

The base salary range for this position is $61,800.00 to $75,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
