Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Design Architect to contribute to planning, engineering, and architectural design across diverse building projects. You’ll design using Revit, plan layouts, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated designs for client review.

You may travel to construction sites and work in a hybrid setting with opportunities across U.S. offices, covering design from concept to Detailed Design. A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years related experience
• Demonstrate program experience in Revit, basic rendering and publishing programs, and Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to coordinate with internal architectural and engineering team members
• Ability to work independently at times when given a set of instructions
• Registered Architect (RA) or in the process of taking exams

Design Architect, you’ll join our team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery. You’ll design various types of buildings using mainly Revit and will plan and program layouts of projects, coordinating and integrating all other discipline elements into unified design for client review and approval.

May direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and Detailed Design Phase of a project - Design work to be reviewed and stamped by a Registered Architect - Periodic travel to construction sites should be anticipated

The base salary range for this position is $91,400.00 to $125,600.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
