Job summary

ESCO Group in Marion, IA is seeking an Electrical Engineer- Arc Flash to join ESCO Power. This entry-level role supports power system studies, arc flash analysis, protective device coordination, and electrical safety initiatives under supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering and is proficient with Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and has interest in arc flash hazards and power systems; travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college, technical school, or university.
Combination of equivalent education and/or experience will be considered with solid evidence of success.
Proficient with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

Perform project deliverables under direct supervision while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Assist with developing portions of small to medium sized power distribution projects.
Introduction to load studies and use of power quality meters to evaluate system performance.
Assist with electrical engineering and design per IEEE, NFPA, and customer standards.
Support ESCO’s standards and best practices.
Follow all safety, conduct, and policy requirements established by ESCO and clients.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
