Job summary

TEKsystems in Wheat Ridge, CO is seeking an entry-level to early-career pre- and postsales Applications Engineer to support our client's products. You will engage customers, provide technical guidance, and help drive solutions.

This contract-to-hire role offers growth toward autonomous customer-facing work, with potential paths into sales engineering, product management, or R&D. Onsite work and travel may be required as part of developing core product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Entry-level to early-career role with potential growth in pre- and post-sales engineering.
• Strong customer-facing and technical problem-solving skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Handle ~60-70% customer interactions via calls, emails, presentations and internal support.
• Support sales teams with technical expertise during customer conversations.
• Provide postsales support including install guidance and troubleshooting (including site visits).
• Conduct root cause analysis, field support, and travel as needed (global).
• Learn corrosion basics, cathodic protection, flange specs, and product design in first 3 months.
• Grow toward autonomous customer-facing work and potential future paths (sales engineering, product management, or R&D/product development).
