Job summary

Year Up United offers a one-year (or shorter) intensive job training program that blends in-classroom skill development with hands-on internships and dedicated mentorship. The internship is hosted at BNY Mellon in Pittsburgh, providing real-world experience and professional coaching.

During the internship, participants earn an educational stipend of $525 per week and receive ongoing guidance to help launch their career in tech and business tracks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available Monday–Friday for the duration of the program.
• Motivated to learn technical and professional skills.
• Bachelor's degree not yet earned.
• May be required to answer screening questions when applying.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a one-year intensive training program combining classroom instruction and internship.
• Internship will be at BNY Mellon in Pittsburgh, PA.
• Earn an educational stipend during the internship period.
• Gain professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking abilities, and resume-building support.

Job description

Year Up United is a one-year or less, intensive job training program that provides young adults with in-classroom skill development, access to internships and/or job placement services, and personalized coaching and mentorship. Year Up United participants also receive an educational stipend.

The program consists of training in technical and professional skills, followed by an internship with a top company. Your internship will be at BNY Mellon in Pittsburgh.

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available Monday-Friday throughout the duration of the program
• Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
• Have not obtained a Bachelor?s degree
• You may be required to answer additional screening questions when applying
