Applied Technical Services, LLC seeks an API Inspector in Portland, OR to perform field inspections of tanks, piping, and pressure vessels. This full-time role requires latest API certifications, ability to work at heights, and travel as needed. You will write detailed assessment reports and recommend repairs, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Relocation to Portland is required. Ideal candidates bring leadership, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Summary

ATS is seeking a fulltime API with one or more API certs (510/570/653) to support our Portland, OR office. This position is geared towards recently certified API inspectors in a mostly residential inspector role working 30-40 hours per week with limited overtime. No per diem unless traveling out of area (rare). Requires relocation to Portland, OR.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Industrial inspection, operations and maintenance experience.
• Process improvement experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power-point, AutoCAD.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a growing environment.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Candidate must be willing to relocate, work odd hours, work overtime, work varying hours and a varying schedule.

Work Conditions

• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
• Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
• Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
• Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.
• Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
• Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
