Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC (ATS) seeks a full-time API inspector with API 510/570/653 certifications to support our Portland, OR office. This role focuses on residential inspections, 30–40 hours per week, with limited overtime and relocation to Portland required.

You will perform field inspections of tanks, piping, and pressure vessels for compliance, recommend repairs, and write detailed reports using MS Office and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current API 510 and/or API 570 and/or API 653.
• Recent API cert recipients encouraged to apply.
• Willing to relocate to Portland, OR and work varying hours including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Performs field inspections of tanks, pressure vessels, and piping for compliance with standards and regulations.
• Provides recommendations for repairs and alterations to tanks, pressure vessels, piping and other components.
• Industrial inspection, operations and maintenance experience.
• Process improvement experience.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to write reports detailing assessments and results.
