Job summary
OpTech/G-Tech is a woman-owned company in Freeport, TX, seeking an Analytical Technician to support manufacturing by performing laboratory analyses and data-driven quality checks. You will collect samples, operate instruments, calibrate equipment, and document results while following EH&S and ODMS procedures.

Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and analytical instrumentation.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and solve routine technical problems.

- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing lab and collaborate with a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory analyses and sample testing.
- Collect and prepare samples per sampling plans.
- Prepare calibration standards and perform instrument calibration/maintenance.
- Monitor analytical equipment and escalate issues as needed.
- Evaluate data accuracy and interpret results.
- Document and maintain lab results and calibration records.
- Follow EH&S and ODMS procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve lab processes/tools.
- Support team and assist with non-routine requests.
