Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Columbia, MO seeks an Entry Level Analytical Scientist to join the Biochemistry team. You will gain hands-on experience with regulatory laboratory practices, instrumentation, and data generation supporting product safety and quality.

You'll perform tests, document results, and work with a team to meet project timelines in a regulated environment. This role is ideal for chemistry, biochemistry, or biology graduates seeking hands-on development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific discipline.
• Ability to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation is preferred (HPLC/GC).
• Familiarity with GLP/GMP environments and regulated labs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing following established methods, SOPs, and protocols.
• Generate, review, and document scientific data in GMP/GLP compliance.
• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation including HPLC and GC systems.
• Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and laboratory solutions.
• Record observations and experimental results accurately.
• Support ongoing studies by following procedures and timelines.
• Collaborate with scientists to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

Eurofins BPT-Columbia is seeking an Entry Level Analytical Scientist to join our growing Biochemistry team. What You'll Do

• Perform laboratory testing following established methods, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Generate, review, and document scientific data in accordance with GMP and GLP requirements
• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation, including HPLC and GC systems
• Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and laboratory solutions

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or another related scientific discipline
• Ability to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic or industry experience with HPLC, GC, or other analytical instrumentation
• Exposure to GLP, GMP, or regulated laboratory environments
• Familiarity with LIMS or electronic laboratory documentation systems
• Laboratory coursework, internships, undergraduate research, or industry experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn new techniques and follow detailed procedures
