Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Columbia, MO, is seeking an entry-level Scientist to join the Stability and Batch Release team. The Associate Scientist position involves CGMP/GLP-guided work, data accuracy, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in chemistry/biochemistry/biology or related field, hands-on lab experience, and familiarity with HPLC/GC. LIMS experience is a plus, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or other directly related field.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Experience with GLP/GMP and analytical techniques such as HPLC/GC desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work for research and development under CGMP/GLP guidelines for studies, documentation, etc.
• Assist in conducting, monitoring and reporting studies to ensure data accuracy and report quality.
• Provide analytical work on projects using a range of analytical techniques and instruments.

Job Description

Eurofins BPT-Columbiais looking for aScientistto join our Stability and Batch Release team located in Columbia, Missouri. The Associate Scientist position is an entry-level professional position involved in somewhat complex day-to-day activities in a laboratory setting under prescribed processes (protocols, standard operating procedures, methods, etc.).Responsibilities include completing work for research and development under CGMP and/or GLP guidelines for studies, documentation, etc. Assisting in conducting, monitoring and reporting studies to ensure data accuracy and report quality. Providing somewhat complex analytical work on projects and studies using a range of analytical techniques and instruments. Working with increasing independence on studies and assignments.

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Experience with GLP and/or GMP and hands-on experience with HPLC and/or GC desirable.
• Experience with LIMS system desirable.
• Familiarity and/or experience in a laboratory setting is required.
• Good organizational skills; ability to follow direction and good communication skills are required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or other directly related field or degree with comparable coursework in the above areas is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, working Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., some weekend required overtime as needed. Candidates currentlyliving within commutable distance to Columbia, MOare encouraged to apply.
