Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) designs, develops, and manufactures advanced composite components for aerospace. The role paints aircraft interiors, exteriors and parts, masking, stripping, washing sections and applying paints, inks, and coatings to ensure proper spraying consistency.

Responsibilities include setting up painting processes, repairing blemishes per instructions, and maintaining order in the finish area. Weekend shift; reliability and attention to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Requires shop math and the ability to calculate resin rations.
• Ability to follow directions from supervisor, verbal and written tool orders and engineering orders.
• Ability to use trimming equipment, cutters, grinders and drills to trim parts within drawing requirements or shop order tolerances.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Manual dexterity is required.
• As a Department of Defense Contractor we are required to hire US Persons.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble commercial and military aircraft products.
• Mix adhesives, paint or resin systems, and apply them to piece parts, assemble and secure as required for curing.
• Repair surface blemishes, IAW written instructions.
• Set up and coordinate processes for painting production parts.
