Responsibilities

• Maintain fluid levels for all machines across the machine shop.
• Conduct light machine maintenance daily.
• Machine chip disposal.
• General shop cleaning and supplies handling.
• Operate forklift.
• Machine all types of metals.
• Measure and check part dimensions with micrometers, calipers, gauges.
• Meet required tolerances and finishes per specs.
• Maintain quality through inspection techniques.
• Set up and operate equipment per drawings or method sheets.
• May train operators on equipment as needed.
• Keep facilities and work area orderly with good housekeeping.
• Adhere to environmental, health and safety requirements.
• Participate in daily team meetings and collaborate with colleagues.
• Record time accurately in the prescribed system.
