DAYTON-GRANGER, INC (DG) in Fort Lauderdale, FL is hiring an Environmental Test Engineer I for its on-site lab. You will learn to run environmental tests on antennas, dischargers, and related aerospace components, and grow into lab ownership with training on equipment and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical or Materials Engineering or related field.
• Recent engineering graduate or early-career engineer.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with lab equipment and test articles.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and progressively perform in-house environmental and qualification testing on aerospace antennas and related products.
• Learn to operate environmental test equipment for temperature, humidity, altitude, vibration, and more.
• Set up test articles, instrumentation, fixtures, chambers, sensors, data-acquisition equipment, and supporting hardware.
• Review drawings, specifications, qualification plans, and test procedures before testing.
• Record test conditions, equipment settings, observations, measurements, and results accurately.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline
