Job summary

Source Energy is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing/Production Helper to support assembly, inspection, and testing of flight and development hardware for spacecraft systems. You will work closely with production staff, engineers and quality personnel in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of hands-on experience, can follow detailed instructions, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of hands-on mechanical, electrical, manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and following written instructions.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving inspection on incoming hardware and help maintain organized inventory locations.
• Assist with mechanical and electrical assembly of solar modules and related hardware.
• Follow build instructions, work procedures and engineering documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and production areas.
• Document non-conformances and report issues to supervisors or engineering staff.
• Support functional testing of hardware, including setup and teardown of test equipment.
• Assist with environmental and qualification test setups such as thermal cycling and vibration testing.
• Support continuous improvement efforts within production and manufacturing processes.
