Job summary

Plante Moran's acute care healthcare consulting team helps providers with Medicare/Medicaid cost reporting and reimbursement strategy. This entry-level role supports preparation, analysis, and client advisory services.

You will work on cost reports for acute care facilities, engage in data analysis, and collaborate with teams to optimize reimbursement while meeting regulatory requirements. Travel up to 25% and onsite work at client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• CPA preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting and financial analysis; identify variances and opportunities.
• Proficient with financial accounting and reporting systems and MS Office.
• Ability to exercise extreme confidentiality and communicate with client personnel.
• Immunizations required for onsite work at healthcare client sites.
• Travel approximately 25%.

• Participate in strategic engagements focused on preparation and analysis of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports for acute care clients

• Assist clients with financial analysis related to changes in third-party payor reimbursement regulations and new models of care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• CPA preferred
• Knowledge of accounting and financial analysis, with the ability to identify variances and identify opportunities to improve processes & procedures
• Proficient technical skills, including those required to be proficient with financial accounting and reporting systems and MS Office
• Ability to exercise extreme confidentiality and effectively communicate with client personnel
• Staff members will be required to have updated immunizations to work onsite at healthcare client sites
• Ability to travel approximately 25%

This is an exempt position that may require some local, national, and occasional international travel.
