Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring an Entry Level Above Ground Storage Tank Mechanic in Hawaii. This full-time position involves assisting with seal and dome installation, inspection, and repair of above-ground storage tanks.

You will work with safety equipment, power tools, and heavy machinery while following drawings and safety plans to ensure quality and on-time delivery. The role requires good communication, organization, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and suggest improvements to systems.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties related to above-ground storage tank seal and dome installation, inspection, and repair.
• Install, inspect, and repair above-ground storage tanks.
• Operate safety equipment and power tools on job sites.
• Set up generators and air compressors; operate heavy equipment as needed.
• Follow drawings, safety plans, and maintain tools and workspace.
