Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) in Bowling Green, KY is hiring an entry level mechanic for full-time work on-site. You will participate in installing, inspecting, and repairing above-ground storage tanks and related structures, with training provided.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the ability to learn rapidly. You should be 18+, able to lift 50 lbs, possess a high school diploma, and have a valid driver's license; welding ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean background and able to pass pre-hire checks.
• US work authorization and valid driver's license.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular job tasks regarding above-ground storage tank seal and dome installation, inspection, and repair.
• Operate safety equipment including fall protection, atmospheric monitors, and respiratory protection.
• Install, inspect, and repair above-ground storage tanks.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly job site and inventory materials.
• Follow drawings, technical documents, and safe work plans.
