Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is a growing, nationwide tank construction company with offices across several states. This role involves installing, inspecting, and repairing above-ground storage tanks, following drawings and safety procedures on job sites.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform regular tasks related to seal and dome installation, inspection, and repair of above-ground storage tanks.
• Install, inspect, and repair above-ground storage tanks and related components.
• Operate safety equipment and power tools on site.
• Setup and operate generators, air compressors, and heavy equipment as required.
• Assist in material receiving, inspection, and inventorying; maintain a clean job site.
• Complete job safety analyses, site training, and safety audits.

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is a growing, team-oriented, nationwide tank construction company headquartered in Braddock, Pennsylvania, with branch offices in Texas, California, Kentucky, and Hawaii. PTS specializes in designing, engineering, repairing, and constructing above‑ground metal storage tanks and related structures for industries such as petroleum, power, chemical, and renewable fuels.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform regular job tasks related to above‑ground storage tank seal and dome installation, inspection, and repair.
• Perform non‑welded tank apparatus installation, inspection, and repair.
• Become Confined Space Rescue trained through PTS’s in‑house training.
• Install, inspect, and repair above‑ground storage tanks.
• Operate safety equipment including fall protection, atmospheric monitors, and respiratory protection.
• Operate all tools on the job site, including power tools, air tools, and testing equipment.
• Setup and operate generators and air compressors.
• Operate heavy equipment, including forklifts, skid steers, and aerial lifts.
• Understand and follow drawing packages, technical documents, and safe work plans.
• Assist in the care and maintenance of all tooling and equipment.
• Assist in receiving, inspecting, and inventorying all material.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly job site.
• Complete job safety analysis, safety audits, site‑specific training, and other safety training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to weld is a plus.
