Job summary

Brice Marine LLC is seeking an Able Seaman to support the deck department aboard a cargo vessel. The role includes loading, securing, and discharging cargo, operating deck equipment, and mooring operations, with duties in the engine room as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of Able Seaman or deckhand experience preferred.
• Current MMC with AB endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading, lashing, unlashing and discharge of cargo.
• Operate deck machinery such as windlass or winches during mooring/unmooring.
• Maintain deck equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Act as lookout and monitor deck and engine room activities.
• Follow safety policies and company procedures, including regulatory requirements.
• Work and live on vessel for extended periods.
