Job summary

Baldwin Richardson Foods is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator for the 1st shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday) at the Macedon, NY facility. This entry-level role supports the production process and adheres to our 5S standards in a GMP environment, assisting with packing, line supply, and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Able to work in a manufacturing environment with variable heat, moisture, and noise.
• English fluency for directions and communication.

Responsibilities

• Performs packing, stacking, and inspection for each production line.
• Prepares packaging for filling at the appropriate line.
• Communicates production concerns to line leaders, supervisors, mechanics, and QC.
• Completes material handling to keep the line supplied.
• Operates equipment such as labelers, case erectors, case packers.
• Performs and documents verification checks for product output.
• Verify proper codes on packaging.
• Follow GMP and PPE requirements; adhere to safety rules.
• Assist Operators to meet line requirements and ensure fluent delivery of cases to customers.
• Clean, organize, rework, and support efficiency in manufacturing operations.
• Learn 5S standards and help drive them across activities.
