Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Field Machinist with a mechanical aptitude and solid math skills to safely perform on-site machining at client locations.

You will work with portable machine tools, learn company processes, and complete required training to advance in the service line. Responsibilities include setting up and operating portable tools, performing pipe work, flange facing, drilling/tapping, milling, line boring, and shaft turning.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring mechanical aptitude and good math grasp.
• Willingness to train and learn with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to travel and work at client sites.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with all safety procedures and job documentation.
• Setting up and operating a wide variety of portable machine tools to perform on-site machining at client locations.
• Execute field machining operations following company processes to meet quality expectations across pipe cutting/bevel, flange facing, drilling and tapping, milling, line boring, key-way cutting, shaft turning, and bolt removal.
• Attend required training to maintain competence and improve skills.
• Identify and use proper safety procedures and equipment; document all field activities.
