Job summary

TravelCenters of America in Minnesota is seeking a level one Truck Service Technician to provide accurate, efficient service diagnosing and repairing heavy‑duty trucks and trailers. You will join our nationwide team of nearly 3,000 technicians across more than 280 locations with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

The role covers diagnosing wear, making recommendations, completing repairs within capability, and following Truck Service standards.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Prior verifiable truck service experience is preferred.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this role.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, efficient service to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose wear conditions and make recommendations to customers, in coordination with TSA/Manager.
• Complete repairs within capabilities and as written.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
