Maintain acceptable driver rating as established in Policy UTS157.* Reads schematic diagrams to install telecommunication wires and equipment.* Maintains physical and online data records on Pinnacle and other databases.* Perform other related functions as assigned.## Required Qualifications* High school diploma or GED.* 1 year of experience installing telecommunications horizontal cabling.* Experience using Microsoft windows software, basic computer skills.* Class “c” driver’s license.## Preferred Qualifications* 3 or more years’ experience installing horizontal telecommunications cabling.* Experience installing wireless access points.* Experience in a telecommunications or construction field working at the University of Texas at Austin.## Driving RequiredThis job requires a class \"C\" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three-year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident.
