Job summary

A leading environmental consulting firm in Seattle seeks a CMT Field Technician 1 to deliver accurate materials testing in support of civil infrastructure projects. The role involves inspecting construction sites, performing tests on various materials, and submitting daily reports. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the flexibility to adapt to diverse work environments. Qualifications

• Ability to obtain WAQTC and ACI Certification within 3 months of hire.
• Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel for Western Washington per diem projects.

Responsibilities

• Accurately write and submit test reports daily.
• Assist with inspection of Heavy Civil construction.
• Perform tests, record data, and interpret results.
• Sample and test Cement Concrete and other surfacing materials.
• Use nuclear gauge to test densities of asphalt concrete.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Knowledge of materials testing and construction practices

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Flexibility to adjust work schedule
