Job summary

KPFF Special Projects Group in Seattle, WA is seeking a motivated entry-level Civil Engineer to join our team. With mentorship from senior engineers, you will contribute to sustainable port facilities and habitat restoration projects that protect the Pacific Northwest.

The role focuses on learning through hands-on design and collaboration across disciplines, including waterfront and industrial developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred
• Willingness to work on a variety of projects
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design stormwater systems and habitat restoration components for Puget Sound projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on port facilities, fisheries habitat restoration, and marine infrastructure.
• Address real-world challenges with mentorship from senior engineers.
• Contribute to waterfront and industrial developments balancing growth with environmental stewardship.
