Job summary

Peak Toolworks in Indiana seeks an entry-level Brazer I / Machinist I to perform basic brazing and machine shop duties in a high-quality production environment. You will operate lathes, mills, drill presses, and grinders, read drawings, and assist with quality inspections while maintaining a safe, organized workplace.

Qualifications

• Basic machining knowledge and willingness to learn brazing
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools and instruments

Responsibilities

• Perform brazing of metal components following specifications and process sheets.
• Set up and operate basic machine shop equipment including lathes, mills, drill presses, saws and grinders.
• Machine components to specified dimensions using appropriate tooling and measurement instruments.
• Inspect machined and brazed parts to verify conformance to drawings and specs.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and document production/quality activities.
