Job summary

Odessa College is seeking a part-time adjunct to teach in the FACE-TO-FACE – EVENINGS & WEEKEND COLLEGE program. The candidate will develop and teach courses in entrepreneurship and related business subjects, using various delivery methods as needed by the College.

Responsibilities include preparing course materials, maintaining current knowledge in the field, and delivering material clearly in traditional and distance education settings. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications described.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher AND a minimum of 18 completed graduate course hours in the teaching discipline or field.

Responsibilities

• Develops and teaches classes in business leadership, management, finance, and entrepreneurship.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge in the teaching field; adapts courses as needed.
• Delivers material clearly and prepares syllabi, policies, and assignments.
• Administers tests and final exams aligned to course objectives.
• Provides timely communication with students and maintains a productive learning environment.
