Job summary

County College of Morris in Randolph Township, NJ seeks an Entrepreneur Center Director to design and deliver programs that foster a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. You will mentor small business owners, navigate resources, and oversee facilities to generate revenue while advancing CCM's workforce development and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, entrepreneurship, economic development, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in entrepreneurship, small business development, or program coordination.
• Strong understanding of the small business lifecycle and the challenges faced by new entrepreneurs.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with event planning, community engagement, and/or facility management is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for supporting others in their business journey.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of resources available for students both on and off campus.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and related programs, excellent computer skills, good phone skills, customer service skills, attention to detail, self-motivated, good communications skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn variety of database systems including Colleague, Salesforce, and Elevate.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver impactful programming in collaboration with community partners.
• Mentor prospective and new small business owners and navigate resources.
• Facilitate programs and manage entrepreneurial facilities to generate revenue.
• Collaborate with college partners and external stakeholders to promote programs.
• Develop internships for degree and certificate students.
• Represent the Center with the community and schedule flexible hours including evenings/weekends.
