Job summary

ICL is seeking an Entitlements Specialist Coordinator to join the on-site team in New York. You will handle entitlement records, monthly fund accounting, and direct deposits while communicating with residents and collateral agencies.

The role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure timely processing of benefits. Responsibilities include counseling residents, maintaining case documentation, and collaborating with clinical staff and other departments.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years’ experience in social/human services or related area, or
• Associate degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or
• High School diploma/G.E.D. plus 6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain entitlement case records with timely filing of correspondence and notes.
• Manage monthly entitlement funds and Direct Deposit records.
• Analyze entitlement data and generate reports for supervision.
• Develop and maintain collateral agency contacts to maximize benefits.
• Provide entitlement counseling to residents and clinical staff.
• Attend entitlement supervisory and benefits training sessions.
• Prioritize tasks and organize a case management workflow to protect benefits.
