Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring Multiple Positions for our Before and After School Program at Pittsburgh Minadeo Elementary School and Pittsburgh Manchester Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Opportunities may be available for morning and/or afternoon shifts: 7:00 AM–9:30 AM and 3:30 PM–6:00 PM, with employer-paid childcare and additional benefits. Positions are part-time and non-exempt.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience working with children under 13.
• Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks.
• Medically fit to perform job duties including a clear TB.
• Warm, friendly, professional and reliable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academics, art, etc.).
• Provide a safe, healthy, fun environment and model positive behavior for children.
• Observe state guidelines and program policies.
• Support program operations including attendance, registration and staffing.
