Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. seeks a Senior Underwriter, Entertainment to underwrite new and renewal Entertainment business, including live events, venues, productions and related segments.

You will manage risk, profitability and growth through disciplined portfolio management and strong broker relationships. Responsibilities include evaluating submissions, negotiating terms, and collaborating with Claims, Legal and Operations to ensure sound risk selection and program structures.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to evaluate complex Entertainment exposures and determine pricing, coverage and risk mitigation.
• Experience underwriting Entertainment, Specialty Casualty, Property or related lines.
• Solid broker relationships within the Entertainment marketplace preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business to achieve profitability, growth, retention and production objectives.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of Entertainment accounts with disciplined risk selection and pricing.
• Evaluate submissions, exposures, loss experience, contractual risk transfer and financial information.
• Negotiate pricing, coverage terms, conditions and program structures with brokers and agents.
• Collaborate with Claims, Risk Control, Legal, Operations and other internal stakeholders throughout underwriting.
