Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Communications Intern for Disney Entertainment Television, January 2027 to June 2027, in Burbank, CA. This internship offers hands-on exposure across media relations, executive communications, research, and storytelling while supporting Disney Entertainment Television’s brands and priorities.

You will assist multiple teams, draft copy, analyze media trends, and help manage calendars and materials.

Qualifications

Demonstrated written communication skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Assist Disney Entertainment Television Communications teams with department initiatives and projects.
Support the social strategy for senior executive leaders, including drafting initial copy and caption options and compiling monthly performance data.
Conduct research on media trends, entertainment news, industry developments, and audience insights.
Monitor and compile media coverage, press clips, podcasts, and social media activity.
Assist with drafting and editing communications materials, presentations, executive biographies, and internal updates.
Maintain project trackers, editorial calendars, media lists, and other communications resources.
Contribute creative ideas during team discussions and brainstorming sessions.
Support project coordination needs as assigned.
