Job summary

Disney Entertainment is seeking a Communications Intern for the Disney Entertainment Television Communications team to gain hands-on experience across media relations, executive communications, research, and storytelling.

The internship runs January 2027 through June 2027 in Burbank, CA, offering exposure to multiple communications functions and collaboration with diverse stakeholders while supporting brands, content, and business priorities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated written communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist various Disney Entertainment Television Communications teams with department initiatives and projects.
• Support the social strategy for senior executive leaders, including drafting initial copy and caption options and compiling monthly performance data.
• Conduct research on media trends, entertainment news, industry developments, and audience insights.
• Monitor and compile media coverage, press clips, podcasts, and social media activity.
• Assist with drafting and editing communications materials, presentations, executive biographies, and internal updates.
• Maintain project trackers, editorial calendars, media lists, and other communications resources.
• Contribute creative ideas and perspective during team discussions and brainstorming sessions.
• Support project coordination needs as assigned.
