Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Specialized Travel Counselor to join our Traveler Care Team. This role supports corporate entertainment clients with end-to-end travel services from home, including air, hotel, rail, and ground arrangements, while delivering white-glove service on weekends and overnights.

You’ll handle policy-compliant recommendations, manage disruptions, and build strong relationships with clients, coordinators, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Travel Consultant and Customer Service experience.
• Advanced knowledge of global points of sale and international routings.
• Proficiency in Native GDS (Sabre or Amadeus) and O365 products.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative, proactive, policy-compliant travel recommendations.
• Book and manage global air, hotel, rail, and ground bookings accurately.
• Handle special requests such as upgrades, name changes, meet & greets, and groups.
