Job summary

MAGUSA, a division of The Rock-It Company, is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support domestic and international shipments in Miami, FL. You will work with experienced operations professionals from booking to delivery, coordinating freight, and producing import/export documents.

Ideal candidates have a knack for organization, strong communication, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a time-sensitive setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, operations, customer service, events, or time-sensitive environments preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with freight forwarding or air import/export is helpful.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic Microsoft Outlook and Excel skills; ability to learn new systems.
• Flexibility for overtime, weekends, on-call coverage, or travel.

Responsibilities

• Research routes and book domestic and international shipments.
• Generate quotes and pricing for shipments.
• Coordinate air, trucking, and ocean import/export moves.
• Prepare accurate transportation and export documents.
• Keep customers, carriers, warehouses, and global teams informed.
• Track shipments and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate files and build strong customer/vendor relationships.
