Job summary

AT&T is seeking a Wireless Network Engineer to implement, support, and optimize enterprise wireless and networking solutions from a Dallas/Atlanta work location. The role covers RF design, site surveys, deployments, migrations, and customer support for Wi‑Fi and cloud-managed platforms.

You will work with senior engineers to validate designs, conduct RF surveys, and ensure successful deployment of enterprise Wi‑Fi solutions, with travel as needed to customer sites.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in wireless engineering, RF design, site surveys, or enterprise network implementation.
• Working knowledge of Wi‑Fi fundamentals and RF concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching, and wireless security.
• Experience supporting cloud‑managed networking platforms; strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; strong verbal and written communication; ability to manage multiple customer-facing projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wireless site surveys and collect RF performance data.
• Assist with predictive and on-site RF surveys using Ekahau.
• Perform wireless coverage validation and signal analysis.
• Support wireless design development, validation, and optimization efforts.
• Assist with wireless capacity planning and access point placement recommendations.
• Identify and troubleshoot RF interference, coverage, and performance issues.
• Support post-installation wireless optimization activities.
• Participate in design reviews and implementation planning sessions.
