Job summary

Method Resourcing is seeking an experienced Head of Transformation contractor to lead an enterprise-wide diagnostic, prioritise a portfolio of transformation initiatives, and drive cost optimisation across a complex, regulated environment in the North East of England.

You will embed modern ways of working, including automation and data-led decision making, partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure measurable benefits realisation and value delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven background in transformation / operational transformation leadership.
• Strong track record of delivering quantifiable efficiency gains and cost savings.
• Experience at enterprise level across multiple business units.
• Exposure to automation, AI, or data-led optimisation.
• Comfortable operating in complex, regulated environments (FS preferred).
• Strong stakeholder management - able to influence and challenge at exec level.
• Contractor mindset - able to deliver pace, clarity, and results quickly.

Responsibilities

• Leading an enterprise-wide diagnostic to identify value pools and inefficiencies.
• Building and owning a prioritised portfolio of transformation initiatives.
• Driving delivery of cost optimisation, productivity improvements, and process efficiency.
• Embedding modern ways of working (automation, process mining, data-led decision making).
• Working cross-functionally to deliver change across complex, regulated operations.
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to challenge priorities and drive value-focused decisions.
• Owning benefits realisation, ensuring measurable outcomes are delivered.
