Job summary

RTX is seeking a CGO Test Solutions Lead in Tucson, AZ to drive enterprise‑level production test strategy across munitions and sensor programs. You will align factories, suppliers, and programs to deliver scalable test architectures and capital roadmaps that meet takt and throughput goals.

Based onsite in Tucson, you will guide cross‑functional teams, influence long‑range planning, and ensure production‑ready test capability while managing risk and advancing common, composable test solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• 14+ years hardware and/or software design, development, or production test experience.
• 6+ years of experience in production or depot-level test capabilities.
• Experience leading engineering teams with responsibility for performance and staffing.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
• Experience developing and/or evaluating technical and/or cost proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide production test strategy and execution to meet takt, yield, and throughput goals.
• Deliver scalable, common test architectures aligned with CGO factory acceleration and supplier readiness needs.
• Drive capital and automation roadmaps, ensuring sequenced deployment of test equipment, modernization, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Serve as technical authority for test architecture commonality, composability, and feasibility, influencing long-range planning and cross-program alignment.
• Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, factories, and program teams to ensure production-ready test capability meets contractual rate and acceptance requirements.
• Direct and influence multi-discipline test teams responsible for design, deployment, and sustainment of production test solutions across multiple sites.
• Guide enterprise test roadmap decisions, prioritizing automation, outsourcing, and technology upgrades while sustaining critical legacy systems.
• Drive strategic alignment across factories and programs, ensuring consistency in test planning, capability development, and capital investment.
