Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a talented attorney to support Amazon’s Engine organization and the Products Legal team within AWS. The role focuses on enterprise‑wide technology deals, including AI tools, and serving as primary counsel for internal services while partnering with business clients on data rights, privacy, security and other legal issues.

You will help design creative, business‑centric strategies for risk and scale, working in a fast‑paced environment where sound judgment is

Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
• Experience in private practice or in‑house at a technology company or equivalent.
• Experience with IP licensing or technology transactions (preferred)
• Product counseling related to data privacy, cloud computing, or enterprise software systems (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements (hosted services, software licensing, services, and other contracts).
• Partnering with the business to develop and launch products and services Amazon employees use.
• Identifying legal risks and proposing mitigation strategies, and overseeing privacy, regulatory and contractual compliance.
