Job summary

Amazon's Legal Department is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to support the AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services legal team. The role focuses on primary transactional drafting and negotiation for complex cloud technology deals, and provides ongoing legal counsel to business teams.

The successful candidate will work within a large legal team, with opportunities to handle high-value negotiations and cross-functional collaboration across AWS.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and admission to a state bar or equivalent.
• 2+ years of post-bar admission legal experience.
• Experience with cloud technology transactions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead primary transactional drafting and negotiation for cloud deals, including high-value, strategic negotiations.
• Provide ongoing legal counsel and contract interpretation guidance to business teams.
• Assist in managing legal issues in existing commercial relationships and advise on risks for new initiatives.
