Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is seeking a software engineer to consolidate enterprise processes, remove data silos, and enable real-time decision making across the organization. You will work with a large-scale software infrastructure to improve cross‑department workflows.

Responsibilities include building robust enterprise apps, APIs, and cloud-enabled services; optimizing data queries; and helping migrate toward microservices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical background or equivalent experience.
• Programming in C, C++, Java, Python, C# or Go.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement robust, scalable enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain high-performance APIs (REST, GraphQL) and middleware to connect internal and third-party systems.
• Optimize SQL/NoSQL queries and manage data persistence for high-volume data.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement caching, load balancing, and asynchronous processing for reliability.
• Assist in migrating monolithic legacy systems toward microservices or cloud-native architectures.
