Job summary

Crosslake Minnesota is seeking an accomplished technology diligence leader to guide sell-side and buy-side assessments for private-equity and portfolio companies. You will evaluate ERP, WMS, PSA, CRM, and infrastructure, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for boards and executives.

You will drive end-to-end process analysis, cloud and hybrid migrations, and vendor governance, and collaborate with cybersecurity, data/AI, and product teams to shape post-close roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in enterprise systems, IT operations, technology leadership, systems transformation, or transaction advisory.
• Led multiple sell-side and buy-side technology assessments for PE, M&A, or portfolio companies.
• Leadership-level knowledge of ERP, WMS, PSA, CRM, with depth in at least two areas.
• Direct accountability for major business-process or systems outcomes, budgets, or IT operations.
• Experience assessing end-to-end business processes across finance, supply chain, workforce, or ITSM.
• Experience selecting/ upgrading enterprise systems and cloud migrations.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills; able to estimate investments.

Description:

• Lead sell-side and buy-side technology diligence, including evidence review, interviews, readiness assessments, remediation priorities, and buyer-question support.
• Assess ERP, WMS, CRM, PSA, infrastructure, managed services, vendors, contracts, costs, scalability, resilience, controls, and investment needs.
• Evaluate end-to-end business processes such as order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, recruit-to-retire, and warehouse operations.
• Assess IT operating procedures, hybrid infrastructure, cloud migrations, MSP/MSSP performance, service levels, and governance.
• Identify one-time and recurring technology investments, including upgrades, replacements, remediation, provider transitions, and staffing needs.
• Translate technical findings into concise, evidence-based conclusions for investors, boards, executives, and management teams.
• Develop post-close systems roadmaps, support vendor selection and delivery governance, and provide interim or fractional systems leadership when needed.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, data and AI, product, integration, and carve-out specialists, and contribute to company methods and training.

Requirements:

• At least 15 years of relevant experience in enterprise systems, IT operations, technology leadership, systems transformation, or transaction advisory.
• Experience leading multiple sell-side, buy-side, or comparable rapid technology assessments for private-equity, M&A, or portfolio-company clients.
• Leadership-level knowledge of ERP and warehouse systems, PSA, CRM, traditional infrastructure, and managed services, with deep experience in at least two areas.
• Direct accountability for major business-process or systems outcomes, transformation programs, budgets, service providers, or IT operations.
• Experience conducting process walkthroughs and assessing multiple end-to-end business processes, including financial, supply chain, workforce, warehouse, or IT service management processes.
• Experience selecting, implementing, upgrading, recovering, or rationalizing enterprise systems, including their process and data dependencies.
• Experience with traditional and hybrid infrastructure, data centers or colocation, and migrations of packaged applications to cloud infrastructure.
• Experience selecting, transitioning, managing, or renegotiating MSP or MSSP services.
• Strong analytical, financial, written, and verbal communication skills, including estimating technology investments and communicating with senior stakeholders.
• Self-directed, hands-on experience suited to fast-moving remote engagements; preferred experience includes former CIO/VP IT leadership, Salesforce or PSA platforms, WMS, eCommerce, relevant industry sectors, and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
