Erias Ventures, LLC. is seeking a System Administrator to support IT systems, troubleshoot issues, and maintain infrastructure across UNIX and Windows environments.

The role focuses on ensuring reliable operations, quick resolution of incidents, and scalable IT services for our clients. Qualified candidates will have a Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance, 10 years SA experience (5 years substitutable with a degree) and DoD 8570 IAT Level I or higher.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience as a System Administrator in programs of similar scope with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; five years additional SA experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level I or higher is required.
• Experience with UNIX and Windows operating systems, and standard IT infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution across client/server/storage/network devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and related software.
• Assist with implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Escalate and communicate status to agency management and internal customers with clear updates.

Description

We are seeking a System Administrator who provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Ten (10) years experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity with a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
