Erias Ventures, LLC in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking an Enterprise - System Security Engineer to support a CISO client organization with the development and maintenance of an enterprise-wide Information Security (IS) program and policy. An ideal candidate would have ISSO/ISSE/ISSM experience and engage with senior leaders on security architecture across mission areas.

The position requires a current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance (not sponsorable).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of ISSO/ISSE/ISSM experience in security programs.

• Knowledge of SCRM and enterprise security architecture.
• Ability to work independently and in teams in an enterprise setting.

• Lead security architecture discussions with system owners and mission leads.
• Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide IS program and security policy.
• Apply RMF and 800-53 controls across enterprise systems to manage risk.

Description

As a Security Professional, you will be supporting a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) client organization with the development and maintenance of an enterprise-wide Information Security (IS) program and assisting with the development of information security policy. An ideal candidate would be someone with ISSO, ISSE, or ISSM experience that can apply their vast knowledge to enterprise-wide problems across a myriad of mission areas. The role involves daily senior level engagement with various mission leads and systems owners regarding system security architecture through various technical working groups.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Required skills:

• 8+ years of experience as an ISSO, ISSE, or ISSM
• Experience with requirements gathering and analysis, and client and stakeholder engagement through working groups and technical exchange meetings
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM)
• Knowledge of system or security architecture
• Ability to work both individually and in a team environment in an Enterprise-level organization
• HS diploma or GED
• Knowledge of data governance process and entitlement understanding...familiar with sensitive data types and associated protections
• Knowledge of Cloud Security (e.g. AWS or Azure Cloud)

Desired skills:

• Experience with systems engineering
• Knowledge of the RMF process and NIST 800-53 security controls
• Knowledge of a national agency’s corporate systems and their implementation of security controlsAbility to select 800-53 security controls and apply them to a system
• Ability to assess residual risk based on threat and security control implementation
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree
