Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives to provide governance and portfolio support for USPAH-wide priorities. You will work with senior leaders to coordinate initiatives across functions, ensuring milestones, ownership, and risk mitigation are clearly defined.

You'll prepare executive materials, track progress, and facilitate cross-functional sessions while building frameworks for consistent reporting and decision-making. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, strategy, organizational development, or a related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• Experience supporting senior leaders on enterprise-wide or cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Support senior leadership in managing USPAH-wide strategic initiatives, including scope, milestones, and ownership.
• Prepare materials for leadership reviews and cross-functional forums in a clear, actionable format.
• Track initiative status and surface risks, blockers, and interdependencies.
• Facilitate cross-functional sessions and ensure outcomes and actions are documented.
• Conduct research to inform strategic decisions using multiple data sources.
• Build relationships with project owners and leaders to maintain alignment and momentum.
• Develop frameworks and tools for consistent management and reporting of initiatives.
• Formalize intake processes for cross-cutting issues and escalation.
• Manage a governing body to identify and resolve impactful issues across businesses.
• Stand up new cross-business forums to provide visibility into programs and changes.
• Identify interdependencies and establish collaborative ways of working across teams.
• Define success metrics and develop dashboards showing value and progress.
• Support enterprise-level communications tied to strategic priorities.
• Serve as a thought partner to senior leadership on advancing complex priorities.
• This role may require occasional travel for leadership offsites or planning sessions.
