Job summary

Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. is seeking a Storage & Backup Engineer to ensure reliable operations across enterprise storage and data protection platforms.

You will troubleshoot incidents, perform routine administration, and support upgrades and lifecycle activities in collaboration with virtualization, network, and application teams. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with NetApp, Pure Storage, Dell PowerStore, and Rubrik, plus strong fundamentals in storage, backup, and incident

Qualifications

• 3+ years of enterprise storage/backup and data center experience.

Responsibilities

• Support remediation of storage and backup incidents and outages.
• Triage, collect evidence, review logs, and escalate critical issues.
• Administer storage provisioning, LUN management, and capacity planning.
• Support NAS services and access troubleshooting.
• Assist with upgrade planning, firmware updates, and lifecycle tasks.
• Document runbooks, health metrics, and recovery procedures.
