Job summary

Expression seeks a Systems Engineer to design, implement, and support secure, scalable storage, backup, and disaster recovery across on-premises and government cloud environments. The role is hybrid (2–3 days onsite) with duties spanning architecture, operations, and documentation.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, regulatory compliance, and performance while advancing infrastructure modernization and security practices.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional engineering in enterprise storage and backup.
2+ years hands-on SAN management (FC zoning, iSCSI, FCoE, HBA/CNA, LUNs, RAID, NAS).
2+ years DoD IT systems experience.
Experience with Veritas NetBackup, AWS Backup, and Azure Site Recovery.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage enterprise storage arrays and backup infrastructure.
Administer and maintain backup, recovery, and DR solutions.
Monitor data restoration and DR capabilities; identify improvements.
Develop technical documentation and procedures.
