Synopsys, Inc. is seeking an experienced Storage Architect to manage and optimize enterprise SAN/NAS environments supporting global engineering workloads.

You will design, deploy, and tune storage across NetApp, Pure Storage, and EMC/Isilon platforms, and lead architecture projects from evaluation through deployment. You will build automation using Python, Perl, Bash, and Ansible to streamline provisioning and monitoring, while troubleshooting complex storage and Linux issues.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience architecting and managing enterprise SAN/NAS solutions in production environments.
• Deep technical knowledge of NetApp, Pure Storage, and EMC/Isilon platforms—deployment, configuration, and performance optimization.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex system and storage issues at the OS and protocol level.
• Real experience automating infrastructure tasks using Python, Perl, Bash, and Ansible in production environments, plus working knowledge of NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, FCP, and S3 protocols.
• Experience with public cloud storage services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and integrating cloud storage into hybrid architectures. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Troubleshoot complex storage and Linux system issues—performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, configuration drift across NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, FCP, and S3.
• Design and implement storage solutions in public cloud environments, bringing together on-premises infrastructure with cloud-native storage services.
• Lead storage architecture projects from evaluation through deployment, including capacity planning, vendor selection, migration execution, and mentoring junior engineers.
