Job summary

SiteAware Inc. is seeking a Solution Engineer to translate construction workflows into technical solutions and demonstrate the value of our product.

You will support the sales process, lead technical discovery and customer engagements, and ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements. You will collaborate with Product and R&D to share customer feedback and drive product improvements, while coordinating internal resources to address technical needs and risks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
• At least 3 years spent directly in the field or on project sites
• Proven ability to analyze project plans and identify risk areas
• Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate technical value to diverse audiences
• Adaptable and comfortable in a startup environment

Job description

As a Solution Engineer, you will support Siteaware’s sales process by translating construction workflows into technical solutions and demonstrating the value of our product. You will act as a change agent, helping customers understand how Siteaware addresses their challenges through technical discovery and POCs, while ensuring proposed solutions meet customer needs and requirements.

Here’s what you’ll be taking on:

• Support the full sales lifecycle, from new customer acquisition to account expansion, by providing technical expertise throughout the sales process.
• Lead technical discovery and customer engagements, leveraging construction expertise to address customer needs and demonstrate Siteaware’s value.
• Define customer solutions, lead POCs and technical evaluations, while coordinating internal resources to address technical requirements and risks.
• Collaborate with Product and R&D to share customer feedback and drive product improvements

You Are:

• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years spent directly in the field or on project sites (e.g., Project Engineer, Superintendent,, or Field Engineer)
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical field
• Proven ability to analyze project plans and identify risk areas where digital verification can provide the most value
• You have strong presentation skills, you are comfortable articulating technical value to both field personnel and executive leadership
• A strong problem solver who is adaptable and comfortable in a startup environment
• Tech-savvy, curious, and eager to learn new tools and technologies
