Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM seeks a Solutions Architect 4 to lead enterprise hardware, software, and data integration projects using Oracle P6, PIF, and WebLogic. You will guide complex system designs, manage cross-disciplinary teams, ensure security compliance, and drive long-term objectives.

This expert role requires 12+ years of experience, strong PM and communications skills, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of network, data management, security, hardware, software, and systems programming technologies.
• Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated team-building experience with technologists.
• Expert knowledge in SQL Server and Oracle RDBMS implementation, administration, and support.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle WebLogic for web applications.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle Project Integration Framework (PIF).
• Experience maintaining environments for integration of project controls (estimating, schedules, costs).
• Working knowledge of SQL, T-SQL and PL/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Assures safety and security compliance and makes it integral to every task.
• Researches, assembles, and evaluates information on industry practices affecting telecom, data management, security, and networks.
• Leads complex projects requiring in-depth analysis and cross-discipline solution sets.
• Develops solutions spanning hardware, software, data management, security, and networking.
• Provides technical leadership and architectural direction for complex systems.
• Incorporates long-term business objectives into solution design.
• Formally manages projects from inception through implementation, including training.
• Fosters an inclusive and respectful work environment.
